Pre-Release Track: “BURN IT”

FTISLAND teased their release with the pre-release of their single, “BURN IT,” bringing in full-force rock vibes with raspy vocals and a buildup with drums and guitar. The music video captured the essence of the song and the emotions involved with the push-and-pull feeling of love, switching from soft vocals to raspy, aggressive ones. It’s a great song for rock lovers.

Title Track: “Serious”

Their title track, “Serious,” continued the momentum of their pre-released track, showing the world they still have much to give in their careers. Starting off with a dark and eerie vibe, it transitions into a melancholic dark tone complemented by the instrumental. The song expresses a heavy and dark tone, indicating that despite their triumphs, they will continue striving for more. It’s a great buildup and expression of their experience in the industry.

The rest of the album continues the rock vibe, bringing in different tones and vibes with lighter and brighter feelings in the Korean versions of “AQUA” and “Sunrise Yellow.” Other songs tap into deeper emotions, such as the Korean version of “My Birthday.” The album provides a bit of diversity for everyone throughout the ten songs. The journey from the opening to closing tracks showcases their ability to transition from soft rock to hardcore vibes, bright vibes, and reflective touches in their discography of emotions and experiences.

It’s great to hear from these icons who have been in the industry for so long, showing their love for what they do and their commitment to continue doing so.
